3 Essential Things Every Stay at Home Mom Should Know

As a full time Mom to my 20 month old baby girl and is currently pregnant with my twins, it might take me sometime to be able to work and continue with my profession. When me and my husband decided to have a baby, I told myself that I'm going to be a full time mother which I am thankful that I did because it is indeed a very rewarding experience and totally incomparable. Yes there are many challenges but I am proud to say that I overcame them and I am continually learning everyday.

Today I would like to share 3 essential things that Stay at home mom should know or have especially those who are struggling with their current situation.

1. Make use of your Support System

Staying at home most of the time with your kids is sometimes overwhelming so it is important that except from your husband, you also have other support system like your family, girlfriends and anybody that you can get in touch with and whom you can share your thoughts, experiences and even challenges. In this way, things would be easier for you and they can also give you advises and can share to you their personal experiences where you can also learn lots of things.

2. Pamper yourself once in a while! Have a  Break!

Yes,  spending time alone or with friends is a must! The key here is to get away for a while and to just unwind. You can go shopping, get a a massage or go to the salon, anything that is relaxing for you. Don't be guilty if you do this for yourself once in a while because this can actually help you to be effective as a mom and wife and everybody will be happy :-)

3. Get in touch with the Outside World!

Thanks to social networking sites today because they make it easier for mommies to get in touch with the world and be aware of what's happening with their surroundings. It is also easier to be productive and you will not feel that you are being left behind because of the Internet.

So to all full time moms out there, let us be proud with what we do because raising our children is an accomplishment. We can be great and be productive even if we are just staying at home.
